The Honey Walley

In the vicinity of Dubrovnik, on the slopes of Srđ (a hill between Žarkovica and Brgat) lies "Medena dolina" (The Honey Valley), one of the most beautiful valleys in Southern Croatia. It is a perfect spot to visit for both children and adults. Namely, Medena dolina is made up of an idyllic scenary of vines, strawberry fields, orchards, pastures...

There are two dozens of horses and pure-bred ponies in Medena dolina. Children may here attend the horseback riding school while you might ne interested in buying organic foods such as honey and propolis at Mr. Antun's, or donkey milk said to cure some children's diseases.

The entrance to Medena dolina is well guarded by a cute little dog (Croatian shepherd).
